Kamala Nellen, professional performance enhancement coach, CEO of Coaching for Champions, and creator of the Foundation Program “Working IN,” created this program for you, the elite athlete, one of those rare individuals who is absolutely committed to mastering your body and, most importantly, your mind. The Working In Foundation Program for Peak Performance is a comprehensive method I designed to care for YOU, the elite athlete, at every level of your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. You will learn the art and science of “Working IN!”
By Working IN I mean that, for you to succeed in a professional sports career, you have master four essential skills. You have to self-evaluate and self-study. You have to self-manage and self-correct.
With over forty years’ experience teaching and using these time-proven tools, having helped professional athletes at every level of experience. No matter what your sport, my method “Working IN” will help you achieve your absolute best.
I have addressed specified challenges for the following:
FREE Diver, who then beat the U.S. Record
SWIMMER, who came in 2nd and 4th place at Masters
BASEBALL PLAYER, who then was drafted by professional team
BASEBALL PLAYER, who saved his contract, and increased his batting averages
SOFTBALL TEAM, went from losing games to State of California runner-up, divisional champions
Individual training modules developed and used to treat the following conditions: knees, low back, upper shoulder and upper back, hip mobility, leg alignment and tightness, recuperation, ankle and foot stiffness, as well as challenges with focus and self management
Skills for the mind and empowerment: high school travel baseball team, 500 high school football players for performance, and on radio to elite athlete populations
Provided performance enhancement services to assist athletes with removing various body and muscle pains due to injury and training imbalances, extending “range of motion” with stability of the joints in various body parts, quick recuperation between competitions, and for overall body resilience
Provided practices for the mind: overcoming distractions, fear, exhaustion, team discord, and offering skills to condition and care for the mind.
